Our staff is happy to assist you in making your selections for class supplies. We do not cancel classes unless weather or emergency situations develop. Webinars are live presentations which are given by educators who are considered the experts in the various sewing fields that they represent. The webinars are free, and we do appreciate your calling ahead to register so that we have the viewing area set up for as many of you as possible. Monday, January 16 - BERNINA 8 Series - Bold and Beautiful Quilt

Tuesday, January 31 - QuiltMotion Designed for BERNINA,Pantograph FUN!

The use of Pantographs has made the quilting of quilts very fast and easy. Now with QuiltMotion Designed for BERNINA, it is even easier to quilt your quilts. Join us to learn several different ways to set up a Pantograph in the QuiltMotion software. See how to use the software tools to design a new Pantograph or use the Merge Blocks tool to create a Pantograph. Plus, learn to set up a Pantograph suitable for your quilt; send the Pantograph to the frame; and how to use the Placement tools to set it exactly where you want it---row after row! See how to quilt the modern way!

 • Teen Sewing - Whether you wish to enter the world of fashion design or personalize your own wardrobe, you will be given the best techniques and tools for fitting and sewing construction as LouAnn guides you successfully through the process.  • Refresher Sewing for Adults - Learn some up-to-date techniques for fitting and sewing garments which will make your experience in fitting and sewing successful. Choice of pattern and fabric will be included in the first class. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 18, 25, Feb. 1 & 8 (6-8) - $85 + materials

 • My Label - "What's New for Knits" - LouAnn has 2 knit tops with variations from which you can choose. Perfect fit and newest techniques for knit construction will be given for your success! Prior measurement session with LouAnn (free with your My Label purchase from Pamella's Place) is needed prior to class. Please call the store to schedule your session. Friday, January 27; Feb. 3 & 10 - (1:30-4) - $45 + materials

Sew Confident Series - Presented by Project Sewing Workshop and Pamella's Place - This class will meet 4 times a year and feature one particular garment in each of the 4 sessions.

Sew Confident! Now you can confidently sew a garment in the right fabric, the right style, and the right fit! Sew Confident!—a new education program, exclusive to Pamella's Place—provides you with everything you need to sew fashionably for an entire year.

Our first class project is already in the store! Come on in to see the actual garment you will learn to make. Sew Confident! classes take the guesswork out of garment sewing. Learn how to measure for a great fit (we have sample garments in all the sizes for you to try on), what fabric works with the pattern (order the classroom kit with quality fashion fabric in the color of your choice), and how to achieve those professional details (they aren’t as hard as they look). Software Sampler is available to any person who is interested in expanding his/her usage of the embroidery software. The archived copies of the live webinar presentations are given to all registered participants and become a lasting resource. Amanda Whitlach is our presenter and has an exciting program planned for 2012!

Virtual Bernina Club is presented by Susan Fears and will focus on the use of various presser feet and techniques that apply to garments, crafts and home decorating. All brands are welcome.

Serger Review

Sit & Sew Bernina Club

Cinda has planned a project for all of you who would like to creatively cover and protect your Kindle, Nook, iPad or other tablet. There will be 3 sessions to complete your portfolio, and this class is open to anyone who has purchased a machine from Pamella's Place.

Quilting Classes

Cutwork Confidence:

This series of classes will offer the opportunity to use the new BERNINA® Cutwork Accessory and then learn how to create your own cutwork shapes and appliques! Each project will emphasize a different skill. Requires an embroidery capability and BERNINA software. Series - $50 + materials

Project Linus

Project Linus is almost 16 years old ! Since January 1995 Project Linus volunteers have delivered over 4 million handmade new blankets to children in need. In 2010,  559,977 blankets were handed out. If each blanket were valued at a modest $25 all of those blankets would be valued at $13,999,475. Contributions include countless hours, resources, money and goods make this all possible.

Pamella's customers and the volunteers who gather regularly help to make our local chapter a success. It is hard to put into words how grateful I am for you all. A special thank you to Pamella who gives us space for our stash and classroom time and space for our workshops. Many others have made contributions of fabric, batting, magazine, unfinished tops and cash donations. It all helps.

As you bring blessings to the lives of children and their families may you also be blessed!
